Contracted by John Paul College to construct and fit-out the Applied Design Centre, Williams River Steel rose to the occasion, producing stunning results that will inspire others to achieve beyond their brief.
The Applied Design Centre included 350sqm of extensive steel work, precast concrete panels, a welding bay, spray booths, offices, mezzanine level and 150sqm timber deck and boardwalk, all suspended over a picturesque pond.
Additional water tanks capable of storing up to 80,000 litres of water were installed, ensuring water run-off from the Design Centre would be utilised to its full potential.
Upon completion of the Applied Design Centre, the college relocated all of the facilities and machinery from their current workshop into the new building in time for the official opening.
Williams River Steel were proud they not only completed the project on budget and on time, they also had nominal effect on the classes in the surrounding buildings during the 16 week construction.
