An existing parking station in Newcastle’s East End has undergone an incredible transformation into a bright and happy early education facility.

Working closely with staff and owners, the teams at Williams River Steel renovated the base of an existing parking station into a state-of-the-art childcare facility including 5 classrooms and 2 cot rooms.

Catering for up to 77 children aged between 0 to 6 years of age, the centre now features segregated play areas for children of different ages.Spotted gum cladding and decking finishes feature throughout the play areas, softening the area with warmth of wood tones and textures.

Internally, the centre features floor to ceiling glazing, joinery and cladding with high quality stone benchtops throughout.

What was once merely a simple functional space is now a safe, warm and nurturing environment filled with fun and laughter.
