All-weather protection for continued play.

Avoca Public School required a Covered Outdoor Learning Area (COLA) that would serve them all year round whilst also blending in with the rest of the building and awnings in the school.

The COLA was designed and built by Williams River Steel and provides the much-needed shade on hot summer days and protection from the cold and rain in the winter, allowing students to continue to play and exercise outdoors in a safe environment.

This COLS has an extra benefit of catching the rainwater and directing it into nearby tanks. The tank water is then used on gardens throughout the school.
